Update on Shay Pickup Wipers 
Just to update you all on the status of the pickup wiper sets for the Bachmann Shay. I still have about 20 sets available, and the price is still U$10.95 each, including shipping. They are currently available ONLY in the United States and Canada.
The Shay wipers will not work on the Bachmann Climax. If you’re having pickup problems with a Bachmann Climax, you can simply wire jumpers from the wipers on the trucks to the pads on the underside of the locomotive. You will need to remove the trucks to gain access to this area.
I was also asked about the availability of the Passenger car wipers. The wipers are the same for both kits. The only difference in the kits was that the set for the passenger cars included four of the gray Kadee insulating washers. So, if you’re looking for these wipers, just order sets of the Shay wipers.
Mogul tender wipers are not available.
