We’re back from the Narrow Gauge Convention, in one piece! I’ll put up a full report later today or tomorrow, complete with many photographs…

Kevin and I crated Corinna up and loaded all my stuff into the trailer this evening. As soon as I get a few things done here, I’m heading down to Kevin’s to help load his stuff. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, we’re on the road to Hickory!

Well, Irene zipped through last Saturday night, and left me powerless — literally, no electric power — until Tuesday night. So, two full days of working to get the Corinna modules prepped were lost. That said, the engine house will be finished tonight and I should also be able to get basic scenery done around the turntable and engine house. The coal shed won’t be done in time for Hickory, unfortunately, but everything else will be presentable.

So, I’ll see you all at Hickory! And, for those who can’t make it, I’ll try to post updates on the goings on at the convention each evening.
